Proud

I'm so proud of an old friend of mine from Paris, who published a very interesting article on some differences between France and America. Check it out:

She was one of the first moms I met in Paris. I met her at our local park, she was speaking English to her son, and I screamed out in sheer desperation, "YOU SPEAK ENGLISH!"

And thus we became friends. And this is not far from how I still make friends, even in America. I kid.

Seriously: she's a great writer, insightful person, and the editor of the magazine for the Anglophone mom's group in Paris. I can't wait to see her writing career as it develops.
