Eventually, as a stay at home mom...you encounter someone who says "What a waste" to your decision to be a stay at home mom.
Thankfully, that someone said it to Brian and not me. An intern at Brian's work told him "What a Waste" it was for me to be at home instead of working.
Brian just gave her a funny look, which is much more civil than what I would have done to that girl. I believe the term is called "ripped her a new one."

I loved being home with the boys. It was one of the best times of my life and I felt very fortunate to be able to be there. Bob worked very hard for us to make it happen and I will always be thankful for that time at home. The person who spoke to Brian was rather silly, don't you think?
Oh yes! She was a college intern so you know...children and families are just so far away at that time.
But I do agree that getting to stay home is such a nice blessing. I wouldn't trade any of my days for a day at the office! It's definitely harder work, but it makes more of a difference than toiling for "the man."
Oh man, I would have ripped her a few new ones!
AK said that she can't wait to stay at home with the babies/kiddos. Granted that is a ways off, but AK would probably have shared your sentiment.
