March 28, 2013: Milburn Easter Egg Hunt

Better late than never...so here we go!

On Thursday, March 28, 2013, we headed to Milburn Farms for their annual Easter Egg Hunt on a rather blustery spring day (as evidenced by Michael's large coat).

We were glad to go on Thursday as it was not crowded (like Friday, etc would have been).  However, it was freezing.

The little house they have at the front:

Michael is a little over 4 carrots tall:

I wanted to tell this bunny he was a liar and smelled of beef and cheese:

At the ready:

Michael after the first egg hunt before his friends from school showed up:

They had this huge caterpillar blowup thingy:

Michael played in it a lot:

Then, girls from his class showed up!  Maggie and Mimi!  Rachel (Mimi's sister) pushed the trio on the swing to their delight:

Visits to Milburn always involve feeding the goats:

Then, the Easter bunny showed up!

But he was eclipsed by bunnies you can bounce around on:

Silly kiddos:

Ready for a 2nd egg hunt!

Playing on the bus after pushing everyone over for eggs:

Too funny:

You know, every year we do the same things.  I guess it should get boring from year to year.  However, it stays interesting as we meet new friends!  Michael grows in his ability to do certain things and the way he experiences it changes as well.

And if I look back at France, we used to go to the Luxembourg Gardens all the time.  But that's how it became a tradition for us and held fun memories.  I suppose Milburn will be much of the same.
